Insurance costing the world!!!!
Is it just me or does everyones car insurance seem to have skyrocketed this year? It seems like my cars Insurance groups hit a supernova and its resulted in me paying through the roof for fully comprehensive cover on my car. Last year my insurance cost was like £300 fully comp for my little 1.2 litre car – this year i was shocked to see it Rise to a somehat over the top £509 – something that I can’t identify even the most obvious reason for. The most exciting thing I did in my car last year was drive to the local field maze – I mean thats hardly as risky as taking a hummer out for a spin in iraq is it? Who do they think I am and what do they think I am doing with my car? perhaps I am earmarked as the next big circus act, or some clever dick has put my name down for the next blindfolded driving competition. Who knows but I am going to investigate a little and see what my freinds are getting charged!
Actually, rates in the US are declining for drivers with good records due mainly to competition. Most people stay with the same insurance company their entire life. This can be costly unless your insurer gives big customer loyalty discounts. Be sure to shop your rates around.
